Daniel Abt about the race: "The Marrakesh E-Prix is the only Formula E race held in Africa. Marrakesh differs greatly from the other events in terms of atmosphere, culture and people. Last season, we rode camels on Friday – that was definitely special. We drive on a permanent race track which is very similar to a city circuit though. There are many walls you should stay clear of and some of the hotels are within the circuit."
Additional info about Marrakesh Mobility in the “Pearl of the South” offers many facets. The Kingdom of Morocco has the best-developed railway system in North Africa. Marrakesh, with a population of just under one million the country’s fourth-biggest city, has an important role due to its central location. The ultramodern and clean central station featuring traditional oriental architecture is a real showpiece. Within Marrakesh’s boundaries, local residents and tourists can use a wide range of transportation: buses, share-taxis or even horse-drawn carriages. The use of a rental car is not advisable.
